MENUS

The idea for Bistrò Union in the centre of Dobbiaco came from our passion for traditional and other cuisine.
Together with our chefs, we have come up with a lunchtime à la carte menu with simple and delicious food full of typical Dolomite flavours.
In 2016 we were certified by AIC (Italian Coeliac Association), making us the ideal restaurant for anyone with a gluten intolerance.

Bistrò Union also means cocktails, so you can relax after a day’s cycling or hiking with one of our gin and tonics and a delicious platter of local products as you admire the magical Dolomite scenery.
APPETIZERS
  • Smoked salmon „UPSTREAM“ (Faroe Islands) on fresh salad and caviar
  • Anchovies "San Filippo" (Cantabrian Sea) with Burrata cheese and mixed salad

  • Spaghetto “Gragnano” filled with red shrimp “Mazara del Vallo”
  • Homemade Tyrolean nettle and ricotta ravioli on brown farmer's butter
  • Spelt Tagliatelle noodles with venison ragout and cranberries
  • Red turnip gnocchi on alpine cheese coulis with truffle and porcini mushrooms
  • Torchietti noodles with Macadamia nut pesto, beans and cocktail tomatoes
  • Potato soup of the Pusteria valley with grilled char (fish) fillet
MAIN DISHES
  • Bacon dumplings with venison goulash and roasted potato cubes
  • Gourmet beef burger “UNION” with French fries and Barbecue sauce
  • Beef fillet grilled or with green pepper on polenta and artichokes
  • “Marsala” lamb racks with sautéed potatoes and roasted mushrooms
  • Marinated codfish with light polenta and cocktail tomatoes
  • Lentil balls on bean and cress sprout cream
DESSERT
  • Iced Mascarpone Savarin with coffee cream and dark chocolate
  • Tiramisu “No Tiramisu” with pistachio, amaretto, coffee glace and mascarpone cream
  • Kaiserschmarrn “sweet pancake” with cranberry jam
  • Pears braised in red wine Lagrein with alpine yoghurt and cinnamon sauce
  • Chocolate trilogy with wild berries
  • Green juniper ice cream in salted caramel and cranberries
  • Lime sorbet with prosecco and vodka (in the glass)
